So, I feel like I spend a lot of time pointing out how Dan/Blair is inferior to Chuck/Blair in every conceivable way.
But the gifset reminds me that, furthermore, they can’t hold a candle to S1/S2 Dan/Serena either. I mean, look at them. I’ve never seen Blair look even a fraction as happy to see Dan as Serena does here.
^ THIS. Like look at how Serena hugs him!! So adorable. But that may be because Blake and Penn were together or about to get together in real life when they were filming this. Their scenes have been so awkward since they broke up :(
